Summary
We are seeking a Attorney to join our team at Atlanta Family and Immigration Law. This role is crucial in assisting attorneys with family law cases and immigration matters, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents related to family law and immigration cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents as required.
- Manage case files and maintain organized records for efficient workflow.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
- Coordinate with courts, agencies, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
- Assist in the negotiation process by preparing necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
- Strong knowledge of family law and immigration processes.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in legal research techniques and tools such as Westlaw.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
